Frequently asked questions:

Can I try out hockey to see if I like it before signing up? Yes! You have until December 1st to decide you like it or not and get a full refund.

What equipment does my child need to start? The Carlton Youth Hockey Association has most of the equipment  needed for first year players available to borrow.

How often do you practice or play games? The Mite I's practice twice a week.  Sundays 3:45-5:00 and Wednesdays 5-6:15pm.  All practices are held inside the Four Seasons Sports Complex. Mite I’s will also play in 3-4 local jamborees. The season runs from November through February.

How much does it cost? The cost is $150. There is also a $50 fee to register with USA Hockey. The association asks parents to volunteer time to keep the costs affordable.

What if my child wants to play but can't skate? The Mite I program is an instructional level, structured to help children learn how to skate and understand the basics of hockey.
